We are currenlty seeking dynamic individuals to fill openings for
full-time, direct-hire Nissan Tool & Die Technicians
at our Decherd, TN automotive manufacturing facility.
This will be a weekend night-shift position.

Job Functions:
Perform die maintenance on high pressure casting dies including assembly, CNC machining, TIG welding, hand grinding/polishing and testing.
Perform emergency repairs on dies inside the press.
Perform daily activities for improvements in Safety, Quality, Cost, Time, and 5-S.
Work well in a team environment to help meet the Tool & Die KPI's.
Troubleshoot die issues and implement sound countermeasures.
Proficient with metric dimensioning.
Must be able to work in various temperature environments.
Understand G-code and M-Code programming.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Requirements: Must have a minimum of a technical degree in Machine Tool Technology or a Tool & Die Apprenticeship with a minimum of 3 years die experience. Must be proficient with machine shop tools, CNC machines, CAD/CAM software & programming, TIG welding, and grinders. Casting knowledge preferred. Must be able to take an unpaid job assessment. Description: Highly motivated individual with excellent analytical, written and verbal skills; good mathematical skills and troubleshooting skills; good computer skills; team oriented and good personal skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
